There are saints after whom a flower was named, such as Veronica, with the Mrs can experience her blue miracle as "honorary prize". Then there is the Holler, who has both Nordic and Biblical relationships. And what does Rosemary have to do with rosemary?

For those who like it less pious: We can only speculate about the intentions of naming a daughter as mandrake, amaryllis, Medea or Poppy. Behind it are all poisonous magic plants!

You see, it's a lush garden where the names of the plants grow. The online format allows us to make virtual visits to churches and streets, paths and meadows, not only in the city center, in order to decipher the religious meanings of many female first names in words and images, which are no longer present.
