What does ish mean in the Bible?

What does the 8. Articles of Faith, where it says: “We believe, that the Bible, so far translated correctly, the word of God is “?

The Bible is no less valuable than the other scriptures. Elder M. Russell Ballard of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles taught “that we believe, honor, and value the Bible. We have additional scriptures, [they prove] the Bible, but never [replace or supersede] them. ”(“ The Miracle of the Bible ”, Liahona, May 2007, page 81.)

The 8th Article of Faith says, “We believe that the Bible, when properly translated, is the word of God.” In the days of Joseph Smith described the English word translate [translate] not only meant the translation from one language to another, but also meant transferring, conveying, interpreting or explaining. There are errors in the various representations of the Hebrew or Greek originals, but the main point is that in the transmission of the ancient texts up to the present day, "many clear and precious things [were] taken out" (1 Nephi 13: 28). In the Lore So certain teachings have been lost in the scriptures. This is part of the reason why the Bible is interpreted in as varied a manner as Joseph Smith experienced (see Joseph Smith - History 1:12). So, among other things, modern revelation helps clarify and validate the teachings of the Bible by restoring true principles that were lost (see 1 Nephi 13:39, 40).
