I'm in love. In love with one of the most delicious desserts there is. Creme brulee. And all this without a burner or a lot of time. I promptly ended up in the 7th heaven - or cracked 😉

At first I was skeptical as to whether a crème brûlée that was neither pre-baked in the oven nor flambéed afterwards would really taste good. But she definitely does. You just have to be careful when you let the sugar caramelize so that nothing burns. But as long as that doesn't happen, you really get a nice, crunchy sugar crust. Then add a few fresh berries and everything is perfect. Mhhhhh, I can really never get enough of that ^^
However, the crème brûlée tastes wonderful even without a sugar crust, just like these frothy vanilla cream puddings. But then it's a little bit hotter 😀
So if you want to pamper your loved ones or yourself with a great dessert, you can't avoid this recipe!

    Vegetarian, gluten-free, fructose-free

ingredients:

  • 200ml whipped cream
  • 100ml whole milk
  • 50g white sugar
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1 vanilla pod
  • 4tsp brown sugar

preparation:
1. Put milk and whipped cream in a potty. Keep 3 tablespoons of milk. Whisk the egg yolk and sugar together and then stir into the cream milk. Mix the cornstarch with the milk you saved and add to the pot. Scrape out the vanilla pod and add the pulp.

2. Stir constantly over low heat until the mass begins to thicken. This can take up to 10 minutes. It is important that she doesn't start cooking! Distribute evenly over 4 crème brûlée bowls and let cool.

3. Preheat the oven on the hottest grill or fan setting. Sprinkle the brown sugar evenly over the cream. Place in the oven and bake until the sugar caramelizes. Then take it out of the oven immediately so that it doesn't burn. Let cool down slightly and serve warm.
